This year's calendar is phenology-inspired!
What's phenology?
It's just a fancy word for the study of the timing and cyclical patterns of events in the natural world, and is often illustrated by a circular diagram called a phenology wheel. The cover of the 2026 calendar is my version of the crows' very own phenology wheel.

Each month in the calendar offers a guide to what's going on in crow-time, as well as human-time.
I've even made up some special crow holidays to keep an eye open for — Pink Slipper Day (that day in spring when the it's just rained and the cherry blossom petals that have fallen are stuck to the local crows' feet) and Dogwood-Palooza (when the dogwood berries are ready for harvest.)
